I started this Pokémon Ruby save file when I was 12!

I used to play a bunch with my school friends on recess. We did a lot of battling with level 100 Pokémon and that’s the main reason why I have so many hours in this game.

Unfortunately I transferred my best Pokémon over to Pearl and can’t show them off…

Monster Hunter Stories was released on the Nintend

Monster Hunter Stories was released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2017 and it quickly became my favorite game on the system.

I can’t express how happy I am to play this on the Swtch with better visuals and more content!

I’m enjoying a lot but I don’t have the time I used to have back then so I’m slowly progressing through the story.

I can’t wait to reach the endgame and try out some PvP again!

Past reel I talked how I was learning how to draw and honestly, I never thought I’d reap it’s benefits this fast.

I wanted to improve my drawing skills so I could make original pixel art for my game and as you can see I’m on the right track!

I’m not a complete newbie when it comes to pixel art though. When I was younger I’d spend hours editing sprites from my favorite GBA games.

Still, this is the first time I’m attempting to create pixel art from scratch and I’m loving the process!

The main thing I lacking was observation and drawing with references helped me a lot!

Also, I need to thank @nekoyama.cake for showing me you can make Pixel Art on an IPad!

At 31 years old I decided to learn how to draw and it’s been fun so far! 😀

I’m drawing Pokémon because I’ve been working on a Game Boy game inspired by my favorite monster taming games and I want to do everything by myself, including the art!

I have some experience with pixel art but I’m a complete newbie when it comes to drawing! 😅

Right now I’m still drawing by observation and if you have any tips let me know!
