The Steam Deck remains an amazing option to consider in 2024, but its official dock is difficult to recommend due to its price. Luckily, there are some affordable options on the market that are just as effective. So, here’s my JSAUX Dock Review where I’ll show you why it’s worth it.

Even though the JSAUX dock is as cheap as other docks, in my opinion, the features it offers fit my necessities.
It comes with 2 USB-A 3.0 ports so I can connect my controllers or keyboard at the same time, an Ethernet port for playing my Fighting games with little latency, a 4K@60Hz HDMI Output rivaling the official Steam Deck Docking Station, and a USB-C port primarily used to plug in the charger, which safely charges your console even when playing.
Display-wise, it always looks great whether I connect it to my Full HD monitor or my 4K 32” Samsung Monitor.
It’s always a treat to look at, and I never noticed any visible slow-downs when playing during the months. In terms of features, the only thing I’m really missing is one more USB-C port and maybe a microSD slot.
Design and User Experience
While it’s true that functionality is almost everything, good design can deeply affect the user experience. The JSAUX dock comes with a rubberized surface so that your system rests nicely without fearing scratches.
It also fits at an angle where I can comfortably turn on and play some quick fighting games when I don’t feel like turning on my monitor. However, I was concerned that the USB-C power cable would eventually experience some form of tearing, but as it is designed, I can now see that it’s very unlikely to occur.
Should You Buy the JSAUX dock?
In my opinion, the JSAUX Steam Deck dock is a great choice for Steam Deck users seeking an affordable alternative.
