Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been around since 2017 and has had over 20 DLC packs released with new characters, new story missions, and various costumes and moves for your character.
While this is great, it can be daunting and expensive for a new player. If you want to purchase every single DLC, be prepared to pay around $165, unless you wait for a good sale.
However, you might end up paying more than you should if you don’t purchase the DLC in packs. When you open the Nintendo eShop, for example, you’ll see every single DLC available (Packs + Individual DLC), which adds to the confusion.

Which Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Should You Purchase?
With all of this laid out, I’ll be providing you with two rankings: one based on characters, and another one based on story content, which I think is the most important aspect.
To me, it does not matter if a pack has plenty of characters if there isn’t new content to try them on.

That’s just my take on the best DLC for Xenoverse 2!
Personally, I haven’t bought all the DLC in Xenoverse 2, but I’m slowly getting to it. I haven’t played in years, and I still have to purchase the Future Saga and Hero of Justice Pack Sets.
I’m especially excited to play Future Saga since it will probably be the arc to finally close the story of Xenoverse 2, and that’s something that I want to experience in real time before we move on to the long-awaited Xenoverse 3.
