It’s finally that time of the year to put up a Christmas tree! And, if you’re like me, you’ll want to decorate it with something that reflects your taste in gaming, anime, or any other geeky stuff. So, why not decorate it with some clear Christmas balls filled with your favorite things? I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now and I love how they look on my tree!
So, let’s see what you need to get this done:
First, you’ll want to purchase some clear Christmas balls, obviously, which can be found pretty much anywhere at this time of the year. However, I recommend getting them online because of the current pandemic.
I got mine from Aliexpress for a very cheap price, just make sure to place an order as soon as possible since depending on where you live it might take 3 weeks to arrive!
And, while you’re at it, don’t forget to purchase some ribbon to hang them!
Then, you can start filling them with anything you want! For mine, I used some small figures I had from Dragon Ball, Pokémon, One Piece, etc…
And, to make them stand still inside the ball I had to use some post-it on their feet which doesn’t look so good so, I also bought some fake snow to cover their feet (genius I know).
(Note: Make sure you purchase high-quality post-it so it won’t damage your figures.)
Also, buying some extra props like small trees and bushes can really make each ball really look more in season, try it out!
Just make sure that everything actually fits inside them before purchasing anything!
