Step 1: Backup the Save File
To begin, ensure you have a GB Operator set up. Click on the data and select the start option to create a backup of your current save file. Choose a location to store the backup file.
Step 2: Editing the Save File
Open the save file using PK Hex, a save file editing tool. Within PK Hex, click on the SAV tab and then Flags. Make sure the following are checked:
Then close, open the item and navigate to the Key Items and add both the Aurora Ticket and the Mystic Ticket:
Step 3: Restore the Save File
After editing the save file, return to the GB Operator program. Click on the data once again, but this time choose the restore option. Click on Start to restore the modified save file to your Pokémon FireRed or LeafGreen game.
Step 4: Test the Game!
Open the game on your Game Boy or through the GB Operator software for your changes. Confirm that both the Mystic Ticket and Aurora Ticket are present in your inventory.
Then fly to the Vermilion and talk to the boatman and check if the options to sail to Navel and Birth Island are available.
Step 5: Gotta Catch ‘Em All
With the Mystic Ticket now at your disposal, travel to Navel Island to embark on an adventure to finally capture Lugia, Ho-Oh and Deoxys.
